The consensus seems to be ok for these folks to take another two months after just having over a month, complete with their expense accounts.

So they are paid $174,000 per year for about 6 months work..

No wonder the crybaby can fit in over 300 rounds of golf a year..

Harry Reid hasn't tried to pass a budget since 4/2009 wake me up when you post complaining about Reid not getting paid till he does his job.

The House has passed budgets each year Reid won't allow a vote on those budgets and hasn't passed a budget.

Yet dems are silent on this why?

Selective concern?

Why do you always need to derail threads.. and then put on your mod hat and ban people from threads for derailing them..

So it is ok because Harry Reid has not tried to "pass a budget" since 2009, for the House to take another two months off after taking over a month off...

Weird thought process...

Harry Reid trying to pass a budget is akin to the time wasted in the house passing 32 bills to repeal the Affordable Care Act.... usually there are efforts at budget reconciliation, but in this case the Senate and House decided on draconian measures..

It should be much easier to get a tee time with Obama busy on the campaign trail.

Neither are ok. But, you seem to be worried about only one of them. What is more important (or should have been) to America? A budget or a couple more weeks in session? I think that since we are in so poor economical shape that a budget would be the first order of business. How do you say that you are trying to fix the economy and yet have no budget? You do know that a budget is sort of like the tool or the plan to fix the economy. At least it is the first step that points everything in the right direction.

Obama is great at saying things like "the republicans drove the car into a ditch and we are up to our knees in mud trying to push it out" But, I see no mud on Obama while he is playing golf and going on vacations.
