Really, if you incited a riot for something you said you would be arrested for guess what, inciting a riot. If the nazi party went into a jewish neighbor hood carrying signs that said hitler was right death to jews and a riot started the leaders of the nazi group would be arrested for inciting a riot. If this movie was shown here in the US and a riot started, or someone was killed there would be a consequence for the producers etc So free speech doesn't reign supreme

You used to think people had things called personal accountability and basic respect and that we shouldn't let people "get away with it on a social (not legal) level," when they did things which mocked other's religion or beliefs.

There's a whole lot of Supreme Court decisions on free speech and hate speech and fighting words. Look up Chalinsky, Brandenburg and consider flag burning in the same context. It is a balancing act of what is considered likely to incite violence versus the right to express views no matter how distasteful they may be to to others ( i.e. flag burning) and likely to evoke a visceral response....
If you start banning some speech because it might be offensive to some person, you end up with no free speech at all.....
For that reason, the court has severely limited what can't be said ("fire " in a crowded theater for example)...

The point is and i think you agree is that free speech reigns unless it can cause public safety issues. Now after all thats happened if some movie house wanted to show this film they wouldn't be allowed to depending on where. If this film were shown in Detroit there would be riots because of the large Muslim population.
It is truly a great thing to behold watching all the "Good American Muslims" condeming the SLAUGHTER of the four innocent Americans and the burning of the Flag they themselves now live under.
