Default Romney criticizes Obama’s response to Middle East violence

Romney criticizes Obama

Quote:
Mitt Romney sharply criticized President Barack Obama's response to attacks on the United States Embassy in Egypt and the U.S. Consulate in Libya, accusing him of sympathizing with those who carried out the attacks.

"I'm outraged by the attacks on American diplomatic missions in Libya and Egypt and by the death of an American consulate worker in Benghazi," Romney said in a statement issued to reporters late Tuesday. "It's disgraceful that the Obama Administration's first response was not to condemn attacks on our diplomatic missions, but to sympathize with those who waged the attacks."

Romney was referring to a statement issued by the U.S. Embassy in Cairo that apologized for an obscure anti-Muslim film being distributed by an Israeli-American real estate developer that prompted the protests Tuesday.

An unnamed Obama administration official later disavowed that apology to Politico's Byron Tau, saying it "does not reflect the views of the U.S. government."
I am so tired of the radical Muslims (I said radical).
I wish we could wipe them off the face of the earth.
I am sick of America apoligizing to them.

Of course Romney has no actual solutions. That's not his area of expertise.

At any rate, if this paragraph is correct --

Romney Blasts Obama on Cairo Embassy Apology - NationalJournal.com

"The U.S. embassy had put out a statement early Tuesday that apologized for an anti-Muslim video being promoted by Gainesville, Fla. pastor Terry Jones, who earlier had threatened to burn more than 200 copies of the Koran. The video reportedly mocks Islam's founding prophet Muhammed -- a view that seemed certain to rile Muslims."

-- doesn't that seem like a necessary first step in terms of cooling the passions so as to protect Americans who are the Middle East? (I have a Jewish niece who is teaching for one year in Tunisia.)

Of course, that should not be only response, but the President's first priority in my opinion is to protect Americans. His second priority is to figure out an appropriate response to try to prevent further attacks.

That's practically an American tradition.

Saying the word "radical" won't stop the Liberals from coming after you what they would like is complete silence and plenty of ass kissing when it comes to anything "Islamic"

Islam is The American Left Wings New Love Affair.
Patradomous likes this.
