Default Video proof that Obama lied to people in Jaynesville Wisc.

Paul Ryan vindicated of left wing smears.

Video PROOF of Obama’s empty promise to Janesville plant, vindicating Paul Ryan » The Right Scoop -

This what PR said in his speech.
Quote:
This is what Paul Ryan said in his speech:

When he talked about change, many people liked the sound of it, especially in Janesville, where we were about to lose a major factory.

A lot of guys I went to high school with worked at that GM plant. Right there at that plant, candidate Obama said: ‘I believe that if our government is there to support you… this plant will be here for another hundred years.’ That’s what he said in 2008.

Well, as it turned out, that plant didn’t last another year. It is locked up and empty to this day. And that’s how it is in so many towns today, where the recovery that was promised is nowhere in sight.”
So how many Pinniochios was that again Wash. Post?

Yes, we know....and we also know that the Janesville factory was closed in December, 2008—almost a month before Obama took office and long before the 2009 auto-industry rescue plan.

Patra, Obama never had a chance to save the factory. I think we should blame the Republicans for this one, so thanks for posting!

FactCheck.org : Ryan’s VP Spin

"It’s true that the plant didn’t last another year, as Ryan said. In fact, the Business Journal in Milwaukee wrote that the assembly plant shut down on Dec. 23, 2008, at the tail end of the Bush administration, a victim of the financial crisis and dwindling demand for the SUVs produced at the plant. That’s nearly one month before Obama was sworn into office."

Horse hockey.
The plant was still producing trucks and was not in moth balls but could have been fired up in a moments notice.

We have been over and over and over this again, there was a force of 57 workers left.. and they completed some trucks.. however it finally closed soon thereafter...

Obama never promised anything, keep googling there has to be something out there that you can find..

It takes a while to close any plant down..

Quote:
"In fact, Obama made no such promise and the plant halted production in December 2008, when President George W. Bush was in office," Detroit News reporter David Sherpardson wrote earlier this month. "Obama did speak at the plant in February 2008, and suggested that a government partnership with automakers could keep the plant open, but made no promises as Ryan suggested."

Where was Obama to open the plant then? Either way its still closed.
Another broken promise.

Let's do this s l o w l y, he visited the plant in February of 2008, and never promised to keep it open.. they closed it in December of 2008, he was not in office until Jan. of 2009.. after the decision was made to close it and there was a skeleton crew of 57 left..

There was no promise, and he could not have done anything anyways..

Your dearly beloved leader, Paulie, tried everything he could do, but could not keep it open.. what a powerless politician.

I believe this, mostly because there is no such place as "Jaynesville" Wis.

Obama promised he would save it. He did not. Supporters should just take it on the chin as a failed promise. All this cobbling to defend it makes them look foolish.
