In January 2009, the month President Obama entered the Oval Office and shortly before he signed his stimulus spending bill, median household income was $54,983. By June 2012, it had tumbled to $50,964, adjusted for inflation. (See the chart nearby.) That's $4,019 in lost real income, a little less than a month's income every year.
Review & Outlook: Negative $4,019 - WSJ.com

Combine this with say the price of gas approaching 4$ a gal. Compared to $1.80 when he started.

Yes. That's right.
Obama is the cause of the recession that was almost another depression. Keep telling yourself that.

Oh, and the POTUS controls the global market of petroleum.

And 13...what's there to "like" about this?

Oh OK I guess I had it all wrong I didn't know that, because if you told me that then I would have know Obama was lying four years ago when he said that HIS plan would keep unemployment under 6% and he would end the recession.
So was he a liar then or now?

Were you guys lying to me when you said it was Bushes fault for the price of gas in 05 and 06?

Wasn't it Obama calling it the recovery summer the last three years? Why would he take credit for something you say he has no control over?

By the was it more like a wreckovery summer.

Obama also started the refinery fire in California, the pipeline problems in the midwest and California, and the drought.. remember how much water you need to frack..

Superhuman effort on his part..

I'm better off. Sorry that you are not.

Does that mean I have to vote for Obama? Is that how this works?

Same here. I'm a lot better off than I was in January 2009. Then again, I worked pretty hard to get to this point. Isn't that what America is all about?

This genius move was followed by trading out of a spot where they could have gotten the last decent receiver in Robert Ferguson and settled for tackle Matt Light, who will not help any time soon.”

7 years ago when Katrina hit, he did. How come he doesn't anymore?

I wish that was the way it worked because if it was, we'd see Romney in a landslide.

Looks like Bush would have been out after 4, too. I guess that isn't how it works...
