Except in local elections or maybe a swing state the GOP wants the tea party stuff to stay below the radar. I said this early on in the race and I will stay with it. Any negative tea party story helps the democrats ... it will only take a few stories to tilt those on the fence Obama's way.
In this election the devil you know may be better than the devil you don't. there really isn't a major chasm between these 2 candidates as some would suggest. There is more of a chasm between the parties than the candidates this election IMO.
