Not a bad article ... comparing Bill Clinton to Obama IMO Bill was left of how he acted as President. that IMO helped make him a good President and he accomplished some good things. I thought Obama was smart enough to follow him but he tried to pander to his base when the odds were stacked against him.
Too late to change now ... if he had played the center people would be forgiving where he failed to produce due to factors in the world beyond his control. But he did not have the experience for the job when elected ... we all knew this but he was elected anyways. He's not a bad man - he just wasn't ready for the politics of it all. he knew how to run and win better than he knew how to get people to work together.
I still don't like how he was pushed aside by Pelosi and Reid and it was their fault, not his that the voters changed the makeup of Congress. I figure his first 2 years those 2 had him like a puppet on a string - still think he needs to get tougher in his party and push the string pullers aside for the good of the country. We had this problem with Bush and it continues under Obama. We need a stronger President not a weaker one.
