Was wondering if anyone here watches the HBO series Newsroom. Great show, although if your extreme right you are probably not liking it as the news is political (taken from our headlines). After each show the producer (Sorkin) discusses the episode. Last week they had a Rudy moment, which was touching. This week was about the killing of Bin Laden. Basically, its about a newsroom that says the hell with the ratings, we are going to give the news. Yea, that part is too far fetched.

Been watching it, not sure how good I think it is. So far the only character I like is the main guy.

I am not trying to derail the thread but since it is OT...

Anyone watching continuum? It is about a future where corps bail out the government and then take over. The show is not really that good but their topics are pretty current like the OWS and so forth.

Actually, its not off topic. It is fictional, but deals with the actual news and how it should be reported. I would say it is a very political show which is why I posted a thread here.
