Why not tell everyone what? You're making an awful lot of BIG assumptions then criticizing Romney for not reacting to what you assume - but have no evidence whatsoever - he is doing.

The presumptive Republican nominee and his senior advisers and aides are hosting two days of policy sessions and campaign strategy discussions at the Deer Valley resort for more than 100 top fundraisers and their spouses. Those who raised more than $100,000 are expected to attend.
The retreat, which will be closed to the news media, is set to begin Friday with policy question-and-answer sessions with Romney.
Senior advisers to Mitt Romney said Monday that Romney, the presumptive Republican nominee, was merely tossing around ideas, not making policy announcements, when his chat with donors about significant changes to the tax code was overheard by reporters at a [private] fundraiser this weekend.
Campaign surrogates and officials played down Romney's candid talk about tax changes for the wealthy, including ending mortgage-interest deductions for second homes and eliminating deductions for state and local taxes, and his remarks about closing or merging federal agencies that deal with education and housing.

Your level of paranoia is laughable. I mean, I understand the last thing Obama supporters want to do is talk about actual issues, but you're living in the same fantasy land as your personal forum lapdog, Darryl. You both think things that happen in cartoons reflects real life.
What exactly is in these articles that upsets and frightens you so much? Is it really some nefarious scheme when Romney suggests that maybe we should get rid of mortgage interest deductions for 2nd homes?

I thought, for a few brief and shining moments, that you'd changed somewhat, WP. Not quite so abrasive and not so eager to mock and to taunt. I thought wrong. I'll not make the mistake again.

I am not frightened - nor am I particularily "upset." I am a bit amused that conservatives, who rail against Obama whenever they think he is not telling them something, are not questioning all these "private" briefings, but hey, I never thought that every conservative was an independent thinker.
It's not even so much what he's telling them - it's that he's only telling them. This is America, we're all supposed to be equal - a president who begins his campaign by giving the American people, including his supporters, unequal amounts of information based on nothing more than how much money they're giving him really isn't looking too interested in being every-man's president, is he?

I care very much about the obvious divide between the rich and the poor, and never is it more evident than it is here..
If this is who he is friends with and who he relies on, speaks volumes about Mitt and only perpetuates how far he is removed from day to day life of the average american.
So where are the pics of any of J Kerry's spread, Jay Rockerfeller or the Kennedy's?
Selective outrage or just annoyed that Romney earned his fortune while the others inherited or married into their fortune?
BTW I don't begrudge any of the dems above their $$$, just wish they weren't trying to prevent others from becoming rich like them.

KerrY, JR, and the Kennedys aren't running for POTUS.
If you aren't rich by now your not going to be, that goes for the rest of the stick up for the rich, vote against their own self interest crowd on here.

It's posts like these which make me very glad I am not the type of person who is always looking to blame others for my own shortfalls. I take full responsibility for everything in my life, both the good and the bad, the successes and the failures. I don't go around looking for bogeymen scapegoats unlike some other people in here.
Yes, Darryl, you figured it out. The reason you're a flat broke, class envious clown with a very tenuous grip on reality is because Mitt Romney is out to get you. It's all his fault. It's got nothing to do with you, your personality, your work ethic, etc.
It really makes you wonder what his presidential "plans" are when he (Romney) is known to hold "fund raisers" and give private parties to reward his top donors where he discusses, in detail, what he will do if and when he becomes president....details of his plannd "policy" which he has not, so far, deigned to share with the rest of Americans.
It sounds suspiciously like whatever he's planning to do is something which will appeal to the super wealthy far more than it will appeal to the "common man," - the college kid, the babysitter, the manicurist, the "less educated," as they known as in Romney cirlces.
Otherwise, why not tell everyone?
He wants to create an environment that will get Americans back to work.
You know? What Obama has failed miserably at for the last 4 years.
