Hey, the partisans may not be consistent in their views on the rule of law, but at least they're loyal to their party!

Meanwhile, sensible Americans realize that Holder really has no place outside a prison cell. Obama's move today was a miscalculation by my reckoning, but time will tell.

This genius move was followed by trading out of a spot where they could have gotten the last decent receiver in Robert Ferguson and settled for tackle Matt Light, who will not help any time soon.”

Exactly what is the connection of white people to the fast and furious issue do tell.
Everything the Tea Party wing of the Republican Party is tinged with bigotry. There are dozens of examples of prominent Tea Partiers making unnecessary bigoted remarks and advocating bigoted positions. Just today, there's an article about a radio person who called Obama a monkey and said she voted for the white man. And yesterday, a Tea Party rally was kicked off with a racist joke that was greeted with "applause and laughter" by the crowd. In my opinion, anyone who identifies with the Tea Party at this point is a bigot. Issa is clearly a Tea Party favorite. I think people should call themselves Libertarian Republicans or something like that. The Tea Party is really an embarrassment to our nation. Also, what I did is not against the rules.

Holder and now Obama are hiding documents about their involvement.

Stonewalling it was called when Nixon was President.

Of course Watergate didn't result in any deaths.

Obama could be asserting an executive privilege in order to protect the powers of the presidency for his successors; he could be asserting it to force Issa to the negotiating table, he could be asserting it because he doesn't trust Issa, or he could be asserting it because he's a crook. The white party is basically asserting the latter because it's politically expedient.

Of course Obama and Holder claim Obama had no involvement and wasn't told in that case the Powers of the President aren't involved. The Executive Privilege applies to the President and Vice President not the AG.

You said white party ... but nice try at deflection ... you really should be ashamed to post that crap in this forum. The GOP represents a certain set of ideals and beliefs that some Americans desire. No different than other parties representing what they represent.

That the party appeals to many white people is because of the beliefs and not because the beliefs are shaped around attracting white people vs non white people. the democratic party was not shaped to appeal to blacks or Hispanics or Asians or whatever. That is appeals more to those people is for the same reasoning as above.

A mod who censors people, punishes people and locks threads has no business making the statement "The white party". for the balance of the rules you really should punish yourself ... in fairness to the forum ... for posting bigotry which is against forum rules.

Now instead of deflecting ... do tell the forum how anyone can type "The white party" and claim it is not a racist statement.

The tea party is not a subset of the GOP though it has GOP members in it so that excuse does not fly. the tea party people have their own thing going and the GOP did not create them as part of their platform. Both parties have undesirable subsets ... however every American has the freedom to believe as they wish regardless of how distasteful that may be to others.

I like some things about the democratic party and somethings about the GOP party. But I take offense that I like some things about the GOP party because I am white and I think others do as well.

We're all ears ...

The GOP is run by the Tea Party, and that's what makes the GOP the white party. The Tea Party, in my opinion, is bigoted and racist. The Republicans should do to them what the Democrats did to the Communists and Dixiecrats years ago -- turned their backs on them. You are of course free to like whatever you want about the Republican Party.
