When Willard Romney was in College he wore State Police Uniforms and stopped cars..
Guess he wanted to imitate the famous red light bandit Carl Chessman, who Willard seemed to have an affinity for... weird dude...
Too bad he was not as infatuated with a miltary uniform, which he avoided due to being a favorite son..
Not only did he attack gay classmates, he was active in other areas.. creepy bastard.

Re: When Willard was growing up he wanted to be just like Carl Chessman..
It was a college prank a long time ago. It means little or even nothing. If we're making this decision based on things like this we're in trouble.
Look, we're either going to get concerned with silly stories from 40 years ago, gotcha crap and miscues on stage as we elect The Most Powerful Man on the Planet or we find out who has the best policies for the world. Junk like this tells us nothing about how we're going to move forward and sustain ourselves as we approach the limit of growth.

And this is worse than Obama doing coke in college?
If worrying about Romney's behavior 40 years ago is the best you have....and he isn't an especially good candidate, the best you can say is that he isn't Obama.

Personally find it very creepy, reminds me of Carl Chessman.. imagine a college kid doing this to some unsuspecting person..
His roommates also found it creepy...
Doing cocaine is something you do to yourself, impersonating a policeman is something you do to others.. quite a difference.
If Willard liked dressing up in uniforms so much, why didn't he join the army... he would have gotten some free ones words like sociopath come to mind..

"Creepy" doesn't get you disqualified from the office. We know that. Nixon, Clinton, Bush Junior...

Obama supporters are doing exactly what I was expecting them to do: They're trying to talk about anything and everything besides the state of our country as it is here and now and addressing the matter of how to fix things.
Hey, I don't blame 'em one bit. If I was an Obama supporter, the last thing I'd want to talk about is the current state of affairs with regards to our economy, energy policy, health care, etc.

This is nothing more than an old story being rehashed by people who want to talk about anything they can to distract from how abysmal a job their own guy has done running the country.
The liberals are, in their typical dishonest fashion, trying to make it sound like Romney regularly suited up in a police uniform and patrolled the streets of San Francisco, pulling over and harassing completely innocent motorists. What actually happened was it was nothing beyond a stupid college prank he and some friends pulled on a couple other friends.
But hey if I was an Obama supporter I'd much rather talk about college pranks than things like, you know, the economy.

Not one of your posts considers that those tactics you mention being used by Team Obama have been used by Romney, or any other republican campaign team. I assume you forgot the crap Republicans have, do and will dish out in order to get elected.

Here's the deal. Most of us did Coke or pot when we were in that era. Some of us admit to it. I wouldn't hold snorting or puffing against someone who is in office. Although, I would snicker at them for denying it, when it's obvious. Compare that to cutting someone's long hair, bullying, putting a pet on the roof of a car, or impersonating an officer. I knew similiar people like that growing up and don't really associate with them. However, I do associate with the pot and coke people. Either way, I would vote for the person on his record and platform.
