Not sure.

Never mind.

So you think that because candidates do something it is right, intelligent and rational? You're joking, right?

No necessarily, rational, but they must think it is providing valuable information for the campiagn.

They may think that, but they may likely be a bunch of freaking idiots who don't know anything. I'm betting on the latter. Politicians are not necessarily smart people. Their underlings aren't either. Smart people are scientists, doctors, astronauts and mathematicians. Smart people do engineering, research, and construction. Smart people teach, do art, and write brilliantly. They do not do politics.

Boy, you're really giving Darryl a run for his money in the competition to be my lead stalker. Anyways......

Unlike you, I'm not the type of person that demands to have the last word in an argument. I've stated my opinions, I've presented facts, and I've accurately pointed out instances where you've been using terms which you clearly don't understand. You're obviously far too belligerent to admit being wrong, no matter how conclusively it has been established.

If you have something significant to add, now would be a good time. But I am not going to just repeat myself over and over and over again because I know you're too obtuse to even consider the notion that there are people, such as me, who know much more about statistics than you do.

You know, it would've taken a lot less time and energy to just write three simple words: I was wrong.

Let's get two things straight. I'm not stalking you, nor do I care about getting the last word in. But the fact remains: you had the temerity to insult my intelligence, and apparently you think you're entitled to slink away with your tail between your legs when I call you on your crap. As I think anyone with half a brain can tell from your pathetic, dissembling, mealy-mouthed response, the facts are simply not on your side. So maybe next time before you go about impugning my intelligence, you should actually be sure you know what you're talking about. I presented an example of a political commentator citing a single poll as an outlier, and I can cite a whole lot more because it happens all the time. Either explain how this is materially distinct from the manner in which I used the term, or admit that you were full of it, as is typically the case. Textbook Dunning-Kruger, this guy.

I think this exchange should be stickied as a reminder to anyone who would waste their time debating with you what a complete and utter intellectual fraud you are. Though I do confess, owning you really never gets old.
