TRIPOLI (Reuters) - The brother of al Qaeda's second-in-command, who was killed in a U.S. drone strike, said Washington's use of the remote-controlled weapons is inhumane and makes a mockery of its claims to champion human rights.

U.S. officials said on Tuesday that Libyan-born al Qaeda operative Abu Yahya al-Libi was killed by a drone strike in Pakistan, in what was described as a major blow to the militant group.
Well if anyone knows about being the champion of human rights it has to be the brother of the#2 Al Qaeda leader The association might be a bit unfair but i wonder if he's consistent with the same criticism of Al Qaeda's inhumanity?

Ohplease. And that's not being political, I don't think I'm a republican, I'm more fiscally conservative than anything else, as to the rest I have no idea what I am anymore LOL

Using that particular source is a pretty bad example lol. But the USA has always championed human rights, " we don't torture" and all that, but the reality is quite different as we've seen many times. The other thing is, supposedly those drones aren't as precise as we're told. There are photos of the effects of those drone hits and it's no razor-sharp hit. Entire villages have been destroyed. We really don't know the truth about what goes on over there and maybe we never will but I think there are parts of the world who see our pro-human rights stance as a bit hypocritical. But an AQ complaining about human rights is just ridiculous
