Unless, of course, he was mentally ill...and most people who commit suicide ARE mentally ill.
I could care less what was or was not wrong with him...just glad he killed himself. I just wish he only took his own life, we'd all be better off for it.

Murder-suicides always happen in the reverse order.
The shooter was black, thus the title of this thread is justified...
Condolences to the officer's family...
According to the affidavit filed by the Mother,
Quote:
"He is a demon," she wrote in her application, saying he was physically abusive before they broke up last July, according to the Springfield Republican.
Mitchell described him as mentally unstable and domineering.
"He had always told me that he is crazy and that his head is not good," she wrote in her application for the order of protection.
People wear different faces and they show them to different people. Maybe when he was at work he behaved normally.
According to his mother:
Quote:
“He sent child support for the baby. He took care of the baby. He died because of his child. Shawn has a perfect record. He never was involved with the law, he never got arrested, he doesn't drink, he don't smoke, and he was my best friend,” she said.
King says her son was upset about his girlfriend not letting him see their one-year-old daughter Savannah, so she told him to go to Springfield.
“I says to him, Shawn, go and get visitation rights from the courts and he said that's what he was going to do.”
King says she is numb after finding out the trip cost him his life.
None at all. Apparently, according to your cited article, he was supposed to turn in his gun when the order of protection was issued. Maybe if someone followed up on that none of this would have happened. Instead of trusting the gun owner to surrender his weapons on his own maybe they should go to his home and collect them or give him a time limit to turn it in to a police station or a court and if he doesn't do it, arrest him again.
