DC, they're definitely the Republican comic book company.

This statement is so ridiculously untrue it borders on insulting! Let's compare characters from the Marvel and DC universes:
Marvel has Nick Fury. While it wasn't shown on screen, it is clear that Fury gave Loki some "enhanced interrogation" while Loki was imprisoned on the heli-carrier. He even wonders aloud how he can up the levels of torture. Marvel also has Tony Stark. The modern version of Tony Stark is clearly a metaphor for Dick Cheney, what with the "heart problem" and his ties to the military industrial complex. (Keep in mind that Nick Fury and Tony Stark are
the good guys.) Marvel also has Captain America, a character who unapologetically embraces all things American. How much more republican can you get??
Meanwhile, let's look at DC. There's Batman, whom everyone is this thread agrees is a closeted homosexual. And there's Superman, who is abandoning and running away from America as much and as fast as he can to become a "citizen of the world". Comic book Superman recently renounced his U.S. citizenship. Also, in the most recent Superman movie, they changed "Truth, justice and the American way" to "Truth, Justice, and all that stuff." Needless to say, in forums just like these, conservatives were upset at that while the liberals defended it. In contrast, each of the 3 Spider-Man movies that came out last decade had a scene where the character deliberately swung up to and on a flagpole displaying a large American flag, waving proudly in the breeze (Spider-Man, of course, being a Marvel character).
Sorry, but if we had to assign political parties to those 2 companies, clearly Marvel is republican and DC is democrat.
