Doesn't make it OK, in fact it's disgusting. But not nearly as disgusting as multi-national corporations that avoid taxes in myriad ways.
I find the Thatcher "socialism" quote irrelevant, and amusingly ironic. It's free market capitalists that have a field day with other people's money - to disastrous results. ... Yay deregulation!!

I think we should begin to charge an access tax to UN members each and every time they walk though the doors of their offices in NYC.
I personally think elitist officals like her avoiding taxes is far worse. Corporations aren't the one's imposing taxes to begin with. They're not the ones who are scolding a citizentry to "pay their tax", when they pay none. They're not the ones spending taxpayer money while asking (aka taxing) for more. It's do as I say, not as I do.
