The app allowed users to shoot a photo with their phone, then emblazon it with one of 14 pro-Romney banners. Supporters could then upload their pictures to Twitter or Facebook.
“We thought this would be a fun, easy way to showcase support,” said the campaign’s digital director, Zac Moffatt. Instead, hundreds of waggish users seized upon the banner that said “A Better AMERCIA” and superimposed it on everything from spelling dictionaries to “The Simpsons” character Ralph Wiggum.
Looks like someone should be looking for a better QA department.

Yes, I made reference to this in another thread, pointing out the MSM's hypocrisy regarding how they are completely ignoring the fact that the President personally insulted and offended about 38 million Poles, but they made sure they had the time and space to report on this.
That's all to be expected though. Heck, if I was an Obama supporter I would want to talk about anything and everything besides the actual issues affecting our country.

riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.....
On CNN.com right now:
1) Romney finally clinches GOP nomination
2) Ticker: Trump's fiery 'birther' defense
3) Blitzer-Trump 'birther' smackdown
4) What Mexicans want in candidates
5) 'Death camp' words trouble for Obama
6) Romney iPhone app misspells 'America'

Actually, if you do a search on Google, you'll see the Obama gaffe appears to be well covered by the MSM, while the Amercia gaffe is not well covered (nor should it be in my opinion). That said, I wish the MSM would do a better job covering Florida guv's efforts to disenfranchise thousands of voters down in Florida. Maybe they think he's disenfranchising conservatives?

You see Patters, that's the problem. You have to do a google search to find the MSM coverage of the tremendously insulting thing the President said, something which an entire nation was deeply offended by. Whereas a stupid spelling mistake - made not by Mitt Romney himself but rather some anonymous member of his campaign staff - is garnering top billing headlines.

What in the world are you talking about?!? I just looked up 12 MSM news websites and the Romney misspelling was mentioned prominently on each and every one whereas only 2 give equal billing to Obama horribly insulting remark.
You have a very interesting definition of "not well covered."
WP making stuff up out of whole cloth? Knock me over with a feather.
It's a good thing you're a liberal Jack because I once got an infraction and was banned from a thread for saying virtually the exact same thing you've just said here.
But as a liberal you don't need to worry about silly things like forum rules, so carry on.

Actually, I've been infracted and banned from threads a bunch. Like when I called you a troll, even though you've basically admitted being as much. So, even though you love to play the victim and make yourself out to be oh-so-oppressed around here, sorry, but that dog don't hunt.
