Default Study Finds Fox News Viewers Least Informed Of All Viewers

Another study has concluded that people who only watch Fox News are less informed than all other news consumers.

Researchers at Farleigh Dickinson University updated a study they had conducted in late 2011. That study only sampled respondents from New Jersey, where the university is located. This time, the researchers conducted a nationwide poll.

Anyone who watches only one news outlet with a biased point of view (no matter which side) are usually less informed.

FOX is also the most watched of the cable news outlets...

scary

The good news is that most of the next generation of americans DON'T watch Fox. Hopefully we can fix the mess you all made.

I don't know how anyone could watch either Sean Hannity or Ed Shultz and not think that they are just stupid tools. And both O'reilly and O'donnell are smart, but are both pompous arrogant a-holes.

The headline outperforms the reality though. When you look at the results everyone got well under half the questions. 1.61 out of 5 being the highest and 1.06 out of 5 being the lowest. There has to be some crossover data that skews it as well. For example they separate Sunday News shows from Fox, NBC, CNN and NPR viewers. I think everyone of those networks also have Sunday shows. Feeling all smart and superior isn't something I take from that. The bigger differences in the audiences are more ideological I think

Hannity and Matthews aren't "news people."

Anyhow, as the most talented hater here, can you name a single reporter you like? If not, how do you trust any news you hear at all? Or do you just base world events on what the people look like?

You see how this works, yes?

As for Fox viewers being dumbest, in other news, the Palestinians have announced they don't like the Israelis very much.

The most informative, and fair news anchor on television is broadcast on the Comedy network.

that tells you all you need to know about the level of journalism that is practiced in today's america.
