Not that is matters for the most part ... but there are lots of tales that Obama ran with to get favorable results. it is what it is but it would have been nice to have his life scrutinized as it should be for all presidential candidates.

For the most part the media took the scripted story and ran with that. We got lucky this time ... I would not like to take a chance on luck every time ... I would like to see the vetting process each and every time. There are more people out there with little track records in life - don't think some people would not try to manufacture a candidate in the future.

Remember we do not elect the President - the electoral college does but we can stop them from running if we get rid of them in a primary. Once they get by the primary anything can happen.
