I thought the birth certificate was brought up by Hillary's campaign, not the GOP

It is GOP nut jobs who kept it alive, however.

You haven't really answered the question, though. "It has been proven through discussion"?

If he was ineligible due to where he was born, did Bush, Cheney and the rest of the minions of the right know this??

If they did know it, why were they silent??

With all of our layers of security; FBI, NSA and CIA + a whole bunch more, no one found this and we have to rely on Joe Farah, Joe Arpaio and Orly Taitz and their insane azz clown cold case birther posse to find the truth??

I think the posters here should call the FBI and tell them theres a foreigner in the oval office. After all if they know something and don't alert the authoraties they are aiding and abetting a criminal act. And i did provide the number, so they have no excuse

As I have said before if he weren't born in Hawaii the Clinton's would have found out and buried him 4 years ago.

The current issue is why did his publisher claim he was born in Kenya for 16 years?

Why did he allow the lie to stay out there?

Is he a composite like his girl friends?

If a pub had lied about his origins for 16 years would the press make a big deal about it?

You beat me to it. That was the question you asked and the response was as if you were advancing the birther notion.

Political haters will grab any straw they can to make what hay they can with. I can't imagine dissimilar treatment if the shoe were on the other foot. Lets be honest. Heck it's not even reserved to political haters. Look at the Jets fans with Spygate. No matter what evidence to the contrary is presented, the Pats will forever be the biggest cheaters in history of the world.

For the most part the media took the scripted story and ran with that. We got lucky this time ... I would not like to take a chance on luck every time ... Remember we do not elect the President - the electoral college does but we can stop them from running if we get rid of them in a primary. Once they get by the primary anything can happen.

Icy, show me a candidate who has been scrutinized as much as Obama. The right wing has literally spent millions upon millions only looking for dirt, and the right wing includes the most powerful news network in the world, legal authorities, and many, many others. The fact is Obama appears to simpply be a decent man, something which indecent people refuse to accept.

The fact that the text in question is the same word for word suggests it was reprinted and not really reviewed. That a press agent tries to package his client a particular way is a lot less convincing than the birth certificate evidence and the birth announcements in the Honolulu newspapers.
