It seems there's a new book out, and if you buy the author's credibility (this is the first I've heard of him or the book so I can't say, but the story's pretty believable given the Kennedy's in-family competitiveness and "edginess" at times). Anyway here's the scoop: apparently Caroline, who once supported Obama, has changed her tune in a big way due in no small part to the fact that despite her ringing endorsement back in 08, the Obama's have sort of snubbed the Kennedy's. Interestingly the book also claims that it was only Caroline and Teddy who'd initially supported Obama, the rest of the family supported Hillary-Strongly- supported Hillary, to the point of throwing furniture and breaking glasses:

JFK’s Daughter Caroline Calls Obama a ‘Liar’
Despite endorsing Obama in 2008, JFK’s daughter Caroline now considers Obama a “liar,” according to a family source in Edward Klein’s new book on Obama called “The Amateur”

Back in 2008, Caroline Kennedy — the only surviving child of former President John F. Kennedy — delivered a rousing endorsement of Barack Obama. “I have never had a president who inspired me the way people tell me that my father inspired them,” she wrote in the New York Times back then. “But for the first time, I believe I have found the man who could be that president — not just for me, but for a new generation of Americans.”
But if you believe the explosive new book on Obama by Edward Klein, “The Amateur,” that sentiment has given way to pure animosity.
According to the book, the Kennedys used to be split about their support for Obama. The case for him was championed by the late Senator Ted Kennedy along with Caroline. Those opposed, and who supported Hillary Clinton, included Robert Kennedy Jr. (Bobby), son of the former Attorney General, and his sisters — Kathleen Kennedy Townsend and Kerry Kennedy.
“There had always been tensions at Kennedy family gatherings — fist fights and overturned tables were not unheard of — and this event was no exception,” Klein writes in an advanced copy obtained by The Blaze. That “event” was a meeting in 2009, which featured a who’s who in the Kennedy family, including Ted. The family figurehead, a family source tells Klein, tried to propose a toast to Obama twice, and Caroline joined in. But not everyone was happy about it: the night included a finger-pointing argument between Bobby and Ted, and Bobby even got so angry he broke his fluted glass after squeezing it too hard.
As to Oprah, what's up with the "feud" between her and Michelle? Story from the very same book:

Relationship between Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey 'breaks down'
The relationship between Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey, arguably the two biggest female influences on Barack Obama's presidency, has reached breaking point, according to a controversial new book.

The book, The Amateur, written by Edward Klein, the former editor of the New York Times Magazine, portrays the First Lady as jealous of the access and influence the talk show host had over her husband. It also suggests Mrs Obama criticised Miss Winfrey's weight.
Mr Klein claims that despite an initially warm relationship, the friendship became fractured shortly after Mr Obama's election victory.
It alleges that Valerie Jarrett and Desirée Rogers, advisers to Mrs Obama, became concerned at how close Oprah, whose support for Mr Obama in 2008 was seen as crucial, was becoming to the First Family.
The book refers to an alleged disagreement the pair had over Mrs Obama's childhood obesity campaign. According to the author Oprah had offered to feature the campaign on her television show but was rebuffed by Mrs Obama.
There's more in the link. Sounds like an interesting book lol, good summer reading

Its not so surprising that the Kennedys were split back then. My biggest beef with Hillary was that she was hated by the Republicans with the white-hot intensity of 1000 suns, I saw her galvanizing the Republican base way beyond anything Regan ever did.

The author:
I looked him up and wiki cites him that way for sure, as do a couple of others that I saw, but I clicked on the Huff Post article. The HP acknowledges this as well, but cites something within the book that supports to the author's credibility. It's a remark made by Obama's once personal physician about Obama's Affordable Healthcare plan (the MD did not support it).
Just came back here now, I didn't realize you had mentioned it also.
Your thread was the first I'd seen of it actually but I mentioned it here because-they seem related somehow.
This book may not be as quackers as some people claim it is. If anything else comes out about the book I'll post it here. Your thread is about RFK Jr's wife-this thread can be about the Oprah and Caroline stories
