I believe that line is from Road House Blues....but as I said could be wrong.

Either way, both Mr. Morrisons were great.
I only know of one Jim Morrison, the lead singer for the Doors. And i don't understand the confusion when the lyrics are obviously the last line of Road House Blues. Besides Jim Morrison is a lot different than VAN Morrison. J looks and sounds quit a bit different that V

Something magical about that song. Saw the Dead while attending UMass, Amherst in '80...some GREAT concerts out there including the Allman Bros. Band.

Those were the days my friend....and we did truly believe they'd never end, didn't we?

Hahahaha...I have no doubts.

If it makes you feel better, you "old guys" still have the best tunes.

Far out man (dude)...but they're not "OUR" tunes...they're timeless and universal.

"the elixer still retains it's healing qualities ,like a polstice for our ragged weary souls. Honey dripping sweetly from each note, like a sab for tired eyes, imersed in sound falling with the evening dew of the garden Island. (YES I'm sober folks!)"

If you understand the above quote I got from a deadhead on youtube, then you can hang with us bro...or should I say, son?

They're the people's tunes.
