Neo-Nazis elected in the new Greek parliament
Wow ... this is some seriously messed up crap in Greece ... and crap is the word needed I think.
Neo-Nazis elected in the new Greek parliament | News.com.au
Quote:
The party is calculated to win between six and eight percent of the vote on rising immigration and crime concerns, comfortably above the three-percent threshold required for to enter parliament.
The group reacted jubilantly and claimed the result would translate into more than 25 deputies in the 300-seat parliament, a stunning blow to mainstream parties. "A new nationalist movement dawns," Golden Dawn said on its website. "Hundreds of thousands of Greeks have dynamically joined the national cause for a great, free Greece," it said.

Quote:
With Greece the main entry-point for irregular migration to Europe, thousands of migrants unable to cross to other EU states due to legal constraints have created urban ghettos in Athens, Patras and other cities.
Hostility from local residents has spiked in recent months with the deterioration of an economic crisis that has brought recession and hundreds of thousands of job losses in Greece.
Migrants are also blamed for increased muggings, car thefts and break-ins.[/url]

An openly Neo Nazi in Arizona killed his girlfriend, her daughter and a 15 month granddaughter before he turned the gun on himself.
J T Ready was an active tea partier, and a border vigilante and a good friend of Pearce, the author of SB 1070....
Also a buddy of Joe Arpaio...
They are everywhere and gaining credibility..

The past president of the Mesa Community College Republican Club and current Maricopa County Republican precinct committeeman, Ready is deeply involved in mainstream conservative politics. He's also an outright neo-Nazi. Ready spoke at a rally put on by the neo-Nazi National Socialist Movement in Omaha, Neb., last September (where he was billed as an "Arizona Republican activist") and appeared at the neo-Nazi National Vanguard's "Winterfest" gathering in Phoenix last December. He regularly posts to white nationalist online forums, including NewSaxon, where last December he offered this charming observation on the root causes of illegal immigration: "The truth is that negroids screw monkeys and rape babies in afreaka [sic]. Then stupid white man who licks kosher jew rear lets negroids in. … Stop Negroid immigration and integration now!!! Nature will take care of the rest."
In 2006, Ready ran for Mesa City Council. He made headlines that March when he fired a pistol at a Latino man armed with a BB gun. Later, his campaign derailed when, shortly after Ready volunteered to act as master of ceremonies at the Mesa Veteran's Day parade, it came to light that Ready had been court-martialed and drummed out of the Marines.

More recent from SPLC...
J.T. Ready | Southern Poverty Law Center
Quote:
J.T. (Jason Todd) Ready, a former member of the neo-Nazi National Socialist Movement, specialized in bashing immigrants. After being court-martialed twice, Ready was discharged from the Marines for bad conduct in 1996. Ready, who ran for various Arizona offices usually without success, advocated for the placement of landmines on the border and railed against Jews and nonwhites.
“This is a white, European homeland. That’s how it should be preserved if we want to keep it clean, safe, and pure.”
— Ready speaking at a National Socialist Movement rally in Oct. 24, 2009
“The jew [sic] itself knows it is a parasite. I have had them admit as much to me and laugh in my face… But a parasite cannot carry on in its parasitic nature if it is exposed for what it really is. — New Saxon blog posting, May 8, 2010
“This is the minuteman project on steroids. We’ve got people with assault weapons. We will use lawful, deadly force when appropriate.”

Re: Neo-Nazis elected in the new Greek parliament
SO anyway, pretty insane that the Greeks decided to elect nutjobs... doesn't speak well for them. Met with a Greek national over Greek Easter who's a cop in Athens -- he was in the states getting his citizenship. Says Greece is great if you have money and want to lie around on the beach all day but for a young family, it's terrible.

Greece will soon be tossed from the EU, or will toss the Euro currency. Once that happens, and other countries turn their political landscape upside down, we could see the end of the EU as we know it.

The Election in France could make the probability of an EU breakup far more likely. The German's don't want finance more spending by the French.

Ah yes. "Spending" is the reason the EU is on the brink of collapse. Nothing deeper. That would require thought.
