They did, and obviously you did not read the threads.. the union is AFT, not NEA..

It was initially reported in local news and media, however no one picked it up.. just as millions of stories daily are not picked up.

Perhaps, that is why it is necessary to go to the source and not rely on biased blogs whether they be left or right.. to just believe in or rely on biased blogs(left or right) is symbolic of a lazy mind, and a high level of gullibility.

Unfortunately, this happened in early March and no one picked it up, on the left or right side.. so a lot of the initial reporting is not available..

The way that this whole topic is framed by the Moderator denotes bias and prejudice... she essentially left one school for another, because what seems to be the bad behavior of teachers.

Did they "chenaing" her grade after she emmingly insulted the teacjers or did they give her lower grades on subsequent papers than she was used to getting? Again - there's a difference, 13....and since they didn't "chenaing" anything you have no real complaint.

Is it against school policy to share student's work with her other teachers? If a student wrote a poem about killing all the teachers and all his/her classmates would it be equally vile to "share" the information?

Now here's a few questions for you:

Why is it "racist" when and if a "liberal" singles out one particular race to complain about but it is not "racist" when a 13 year old writes a paper which repeatedly complains only about "white" teachers?

Why is Reverend Sharpton "racist" for focusing solely on the crimes of whites against blacks but this girl is not "racist" for focusing solely on bad "white" teachers in regard to "black" students?

Why do you and all the other "American Thinker" readers suddenly object to race based profiling and stereotyping (black students are not taught correctly, white teachers are discriminating against them) and acknowledge it's a terrible problem and a horrendous thing which is happening all over America and Thank God for this courageous little black girl who dared to point it out when you've had zero objection to profiling in virtually all other circumstances (ie:Trayvon Martin, hispanic looking people in Arizona) - in fact, you've encouraged it.

Why do all of your Republican candidates for office blame poor grades and the resulting criminal behaviour on the part of blacks on laziness, on single motherhood, on loose morals, on the disappearing family when, in fact, it now seems to be solely the fault of white teachers?

If the school system is so destructive and so poor, if all the teachers are so biased against blacks, so unwilling to give a black student their "all," how did a 13 year old black girl brought up in it manage to write such a wonderous paper?

How would a voucher system guarantee that something bad wouldn't happen? Voucher systems tend to benefit parents with money, who can supplement the voucher to send their kid to a tonier private school, making things worse for the poor kids at the public schools. Also, private schools are not subject to the same degree of transparency as public schools, creating further risks. An acquaintance of mine worked at a private school and earned barely half of what a public school teacher earns, and frankly that's all I think he was worth.

The solution, well i think a serious review of the methods is in order. Can they improve? Is it all in Jada's head? It seems to me the school only considered the second question.

School Vouchers have been a cause for conservatives for many years for just this reason.

Beyond that Why would conservatives care about Jada and here classmates who are being crushed by the current system?

Conservatives don't like paying taxes, If Jada and her school mates grow up to be educated and productive citizens then instead of being wards of the state who 'need' a growing social services bureaucracy, they would be productive taxpaying citizens who would need the attendant bureaucrats and would be taxpayers instead of tax consumers.

This of course doesn't fill the needs of the party, unions and people who believe in massive government to protects their power and $$$$.

That's not spin. The right-wing has done all it can to weaken public education by cutting funding, creating incentives for middle class students to leave public schools (and leaving serious and smart poor kids in classrooms with increased dysfunctionality), discrediting and insulting teachers, politicizing curricula and trying to tie teachers hands, and so on. The young girl was complaining about the quality of her education. While part of the problem lies with the individual teachers, part of it also lies with the community for failing to do more to recruit better teachers and provide a superior learning environment.
