Divide 700,000 by 30 and you get out 23,000 crimes we could expect
Do we think more or fewer than one in 23,000 people have a hoodie?
I'm thinking a lot more.
Keep digging Harry. I bet a lot of other people in hoodies have committed crimes.
The one we've been discussing lately, however, was the victim of one.
Why don't you look around for red jackets like the perp was wearing? I bet someone in a red jacket committed a crime too (although it's probably a less prevalent clothing choice than the all-but-ubiquitous hoodie.)
Around 12:23 a.m., a robbery was reported at Merkle’s Bar & Grill, 3516 North Clark Street, near Clark and Eddy.... One offender was wearing a red jacket, a second suspect was wearing baby blue and dark blue flannel, and the third offender was wearing a leather, New York Giants baseball cap.
Windham police are searching for a man who robbed a store clerk who was making a bank deposit this morning.... He was described as... heavyset, about 5-foot-10, and wearing a red jacket. Police tried to track the man using a police dog but were unsuccessful.
The Tuscaloosa Police Department received a report of a robbery that occurred at an off-campus business in the 1400 block of University Blvd.... Suspect 2 ... Wearing a red jacket, grey jeans, white & black shoes, a blue Orlando Magic hat, and a black & white bandana
A 7-year-old girl was walking between her home and school, in the vicinity of East Schoolhouse Drive and North Arch Street, about 7:45 this morning when a man tried to lure her into his vehicle, according to Mechanicsburg police.
She described the man to police as... possibly in his 20s or 30s, wearing a red jacket and blue jeans. He was driving a red vehicle, she said.
Used ellipses to eliminate race from this stupid thread - you know, since we're determining whether clothing choices cause crimes.
