I may not be able to back up "friends" (I'll look tomorrow) but Google will tell you they've worked together on a number of youth related projects. I just don't like the people The Prince hangs out with. My opinion - it speaks poorly of him.

And what exactly has Ludacris done that you don't like. Do you know anything about him beyond being a rapper? He's a non-political celebrity expressing his opinion. How is that any different from Toby Keith?

BF...just an FYI, it is OK if we have a president who likes rap music. Or do you want to use taste in music as a barometer for character. You're starting to surprise me. Whether you like a candidate or not, we have no excuse to feel hatred for them and disgust is getting awfully close to hatred.

Barak has done nothing to cause anyone to hate him. So I just don't understand why or how I hear people acting as if there is.

I don't care about taste in music. Heck I like everything from Barry Manilow to Iron Maiden. But, yes, I have a problem with rap and a President who likes it. I'm not saying that person should not be allowed to be President but it would be a negative to me voting for such a person - black or white, Democrat or Republican. Just like I don't want to have to explain to my kids why they can't expect blow jobs from underlings because they have a powerful job, I also don't want to have to explain why it's OK for the President to listen to music that, in many cases, espouses violence, drugs, gangs and other things that are not desirable to my for my kids.
