Default The Media and Todays California Earthquake

Todays coverage of this earthquake proves everything we already are thinking about the media ... they manufacture stories in the absence of any real news. So ... they are all covering this earthquake that presumably caused no damage or injuries ... so what exactly are they covering then?

They are showing this wide angle into the distance shots and the most you can see is perhaps a mile and then the smog obscures the rest ... what a sewer ... why do people want to live there?

Somehow, either George Bush, or Global Warming will be blamed for it.

That's where my corp headquarters is. I experienced my first earthquake last year. I woke up around 1 am and thought I was dreaming that my bed was vibrating. I looked out the window and everything looked ok.

The next morning, the guy at the desk asked me if I "felt it". It was pretty wierd as I was on the 11th floor.

About an hour ago on CNN they had amateur home footage of a woman showing a broken glass on her kitchen floor. This is news? The anchor did point out after the footage that the glass was broken but, the woman was fine. Oh thank God.

FYI Drudge thought it was a big deal also.. all of this fuels the yet to be proven fable that California will just fall off into the Pacific Ocean..
