It's time you're pressed on an issue you started, instead of being allowed to just escape from yet another dumb thread premise with a curse-laiden jape and an emote.

So, I'll be direct: Why don't you answer the flip side of the coin I challenged you with? ... At what point does the "secret things" that the spooks engage in become unethical, in your estimation? Illegal accounting tricks? Drug running? Ambassador murder? Iraq fraud? ... Torture?

Do you even agree that an enormous portion of what they do is unethical? Or do you just see those unethical acts as necessary? ... If the latter, why are they necessary? Because troops are "in harm's way" without said information obtained under torture?

You presented the passionate thread title, so own it.

Flesh it out, Harry. Write something comprehensive for once, too. Hopefully without some dumb parable or sophomoric metaphors to bodily function or wife swapping. Think you can do that for once?

I notice that you tend to use the same material that I present. And lately, you do it a lot. I doubt you even realize it.

Either way, instead of projecting again with a pink cartoon, ... why don't you chime in on the whole Wikileaks/whistleblower/torture theme and draw the line - as Wolfpack sees it - on where/when state secrets start.

Try to avoid the obligatory false narrative about how whole platoons might be "wiped out" without the information obtained from the local taxi driver who yelled "jihad!" once a bit too loud.

When are state secrets a problem for a "functioning democracy?"

Imagine where chicken hawks would stand if some brave CIA operative leaked a story about some uncompromising anti-global warming analysis the agency conducted. Probably different then, I'm sure.
