Eh, it was mediocre. Tyler works best when he is trying to screech and yell but I honestly just don't think he's that good of an actual singer.

I dont think the national anthem should be "screamed" if that makes since (and I think that is what you are saying).

And yes, he missed one of the words at the end of one of the stanzas.

EDIT - That being said Boston radio this AM (98.5) was talking about how this doesnt even make Tyler's worst 5 renditions. I guess he did the Indy 500 recently and ended it with:

"....Annnnd the hooooome of the..........Indianapolis 500!"

What an ass hat. As a big time fan of "Classic Rock" I wish these bands, the Stones, the Who, Steven Tyler and the like would stop doing halftime shows/national anthems.

70 year old men rocking out in tight leather pants, and whatever the hell Steven was wearing yesterday, prolly worked in 1972, when these guys were in their heydays. They dont anymore.
