Default Obama's Civilian Army

Quote from an Obama speech given on July 2, 2008 at Fort Carson:

Quote:
"We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well funded."
YouTube of the Speech

Do a Google on "obama civilian army" to find out more.

Ah, ok? What the heck does Obama mean by a civilian national security force? The first time I heard about this the words, "thought police" and "secret police" came to mind.

I'm sorry, but this guy is getting a little scary. Obama now has removed mention of this from his website, refuses to answer any questions about it, and the text above has been removed from the speech transcripts.

Now every time I hear him say the word, "change", it sends a chill up my spine.

Obama:
A dangerous man who we know absolutely nothing about, a true die hard liberal who "Hates The Military" as all Liberals do.

A Private Army is nothing more than "A Gang" Africa is loaded with them.

America is going Ga Ga over this jerk and we all know why but can't say it, he will probably be elected and if he is this country will see violence right here at home on our own city streets such as we haven't seen since the Riots of the sixties or for that fact since the Civil War.

THIRD WORLD DICTATOR RUN SOCIALIST COMMUNIST COUNTRY'S ALL HAVE "PRIVATE MILITARY" THIS IS JUST A PEEK INTO THE REAL OBAMA.

OBAMA WANTS TO TURN AMERICA'S MILITARY INTO A "GOON SQUAD" LIKE HITLERS "BROWN SHIRTS"

F-CK BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA.

Harry I love the quotation marks, what exactly do they mean?

This Obama-lisha just sounds scary. What is his intention, neighbor spying on neighbor?

Of course the main left-wing media only shows him in a positive light, they've completely bypassed this story. They treat him like he's the saviour of the world. I've never seen such blatant bias, ever. Just look at all the journalist super-stars all accompanying him to Iraq - what a joke!

There's going to be one giant sex scene at the end of this story, because in end whe're all going to "get it".

"I have no idea" I watched Prince Obama swagger and strut across a stage this morning on TV as though he were the most important human "being" ever created "by" the alimighty "jesus" and I got so f-cking mad I "went" out in the yard and shot my cat.

You would need to listen to his whole speech:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Df2p6867_pw

But, obviously the reason the snippet was posted is because it can be embarrassing if taken out of context. Obama's civilian army are things like public service, Americorps, and the Peace Corps.

Yea, I expected this type of response from someone. However, try doing a Google on "Obama Civilian Army". You'll find many many articles regarding this.

He was NOT taken out of context. If he was, why is he totally ignoring his statement, instead of elaborating and explaining what he meant?
I'm sorry but a "civilian military force" does not sound like Americorps or Peace Corps. Especially when he states that it should be "just as powerful, just as strong, and just as funded" as our current military.

Nah, your excuse makes no sense.

Only dishonest right wing sites. Perhaps you can find a link supporting your interpretation that is not right wing?

Obviously, you didn't listen to his speech. Obama will ignore this issue unless it reaches the MSM. He's not going to waste his time trying to convince people like you of anything. What would be the point? If he brings attention to it, it will simply give those words taken out of context more notice. That's not what politicians do. At any rate, the speech makes it clear what he's talking about, and at least the Baltimore Sun (as an MSM) presented it fairly.

Either you are lacking the intellectual capacity to see through this, or have been listening to Rush and Savage daily.. even if he wanted to do something like this, would it fly?? Come on avoid the hysteria, and hyperbole and you will probably live a lot longer..

As far as the superstars accompanying him to Iraq, so what.. did he ask for it?? It is newsworthy, no big deal.. don't watch it.

You know you have lost an argument when you have to personally attack someone's "intellectual capacity". If that make you feel mentally superior, well, bless your heart.

Isn't it kind of funny that McCain has been to Iraq 8 or 9 times. Did you see a media circus at one of his trips there? A great example of left-leaning media bias.

Did Obama ask for it? No matter the answer, he surely welcomes it.
