And there are always exceptions.

My mother and Harry Boy are "products of the same time," they have nothing in common in the way of fear and hatred. Nothing.

You and I and 13 and MrP and Patters are all "products of the same time." If you don't see a difference between our fears and hatreds, you've got a problem. Ditto the distinct differences between some of our younger posters.

You are only a "product of your time" if you refuse to continue to grow and to educate yourself. There is no reason to remain stuck in a time which has passed you by other than willful ignorance.

The phrase "inherently better at prejudice" is meaningless. There may be prejudice inherent in everybody, there may not be. I honestly don't care about that, though.

To me, it's how people develop and the decisions they make that matters. Some people develop more prejudices as they age, some shed them.
