Default White Houses refused subpoena for solyndra

White House Refuses Solyndra Subpoena - Politics News Story - WAPT Jackson

The white house is refusing to turn over documents for solyndra. Congress issued a subpoena to see the documents from solyndra and the White House refuses to give up the documents claiming that its the GOP doing this.

A little history for ya...WATERGATE.

In the 1970's, Congress issued a subpoena to Richard Nixon Administration and Nixon ignored it or you can say refused it. The Democrats in congress issued an article of impeachment. Let History repeat itself. Republicans its time to impeach this Nixon/Carter hybrid named Obama!

A little history for ya...WATERGATE.
a little more history for ya.....BUSH

President George W. Bush first asserted executive privilege to deny disclosure of sought details regarding former Attorney General Janet Reno,[2] the scandal involving Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) misuse of organized-crime informants.

Bush invoked executive privilege "in substance" in refusing to disclose the details of Vice President Dick Cheney's meetings with energy executives, which was not appealed by the GAO.

On June 28, 2007, Bush invoked executive privilege in response to congressional subpoenas requesting documents from former presidential counsel Harriet Miers and former political director Sara Taylor.

On July 9, 2007, Bush again invoked executive privilege to block a congressional subpoena requiring the testimonies of Taylor and Miers. Furthermore, White House Counsel Fred F. Fielding refused to comply with a deadline set by the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee to explain its privilege claim, prove that the president personally invoked it, and provide logs of which documents were being withheld.

On July 13, less than a week after claiming executive privilege for Miers and Taylor, Counsel Fielding effectively claimed the privilege once again, this time in relation to documents related to the 2004 death of Army Ranger Pat Tillman.

On August 1, 2007, Bush invoked the privilege for the fourth time in little over a month, this time rejecting a subpoena for Karl Rove.

WATERGATE.......

That can't be, this perfect "change you can believe in" wonderful New Democrat Liberal administration would never do that, it's just unthinkable, it's impossible, he has such a beautiful smile.

Yes, it all has to be Bush's fault and that damn Haliburton.

The Obama admin is not invoking Executive Privilege here, they apparently believe that there is something known as Partisan Privilege:

Quote:
"I can only conclude that your decision to issue a subpoena, authorized by a party-line vote, was driven more by partisan politics than a legitimate effort to conduct a responsible investigation," Obama's counsel, Kathryn Ruemmler, wrote in a letter to the top Republicans on the House Energy and Commerce committee.

Partisan privilege as it is a partisan stunt.. what has Issa found out after spending millions of dollars on his witch hunts?? Nothing at all.. just a whole bunch of Fox Sound Bites and Right Wing Spin..

He vowed to hold hearings every day he was in charge of that committee on the Obama Administration, whether or not there was something else going on.

Issa is just another azzclown of the right.... 0 credibility along with the rest of the azzclowns on the hill.

An interesting new legal precedent: only comply if you don't think the issuer of the subpoena is an "azzclown". Duly noted.
