YU55 and EBS testing
For those interested in near Earth objects, next week should be pretty interesting (or not depending on your access to telescopes)
November 8th, asteroid YU55 will pass between Earth and the Moon. According to JPL and NASA: The closest approach to Earth and the Moon will be respectively 0.00217 AU and 0.00160 AU on 2011 November 8 at 23:28 and November 9 at 07:13 UT. 217,000 miles from Earth 160,000 miles from the Moon Asteroid 2005 YU55 to Approach Earth on November 8, 2011 Its pretty big, the size of an aircraft carrier. Apparently its not easy to see, as it is black.
