I don't think he's drunk, he's just "Texan"

I've been told that "stereotyping" is against the rules. Of course, those rules tend to depend on who's being stereotyped, and who's enforcing the rules.
As for Perry....zzzzzzzzzzz.... This guy has been as underwhelming as any candidate I can remember. I think this is a good example of why people shouldn't believe what the pundits on TV and radio say about a candidate, until they've personally seen them in action. I don't think the national stage is a place for this guy. The way he was touted is completely different from what he actually is.
Maybe Perry is a Bill Richardson type (to me anyway). Richardson was a guy I actually saw a decent amount of on the cable news shows. He seemed intelligent and pretty objective on issues. When he ran for President, he was one of the guys I had an interest in. When the debates started happening, and he spoke, he sounded drunk and incoherent. I couldn't believe this was the same guy I had seen on TV before. Maybe Perry is much the same way. Just not good on the national stage. At any rate, this guy has no shot imo. The more he speaks and is seen on TV, the more his numbers drop. Deservedly so.
BTW Holy, he does sound like a boob from Texas.

"The most difficult subjects can be explained to the most slow-witted man if he has not formed any idea of them already; but the simplest thing cannot be made clear to the most intelligent man if he is firmly persuaded that he knows already, without a shadow of doubt, what is laid before him."
