Won't happen. He's already hired someone to be the VP candidates Chief of Staff, and it's someone Hillary already fired from her campaign--big time bad blood. It's being considered a very crude signal to Mrs. Clinton.

Im pretty convinced that if he picks either Sam Nunn, Joe Biden, or Jim Webb, Obama will win the election by 6 to 8 points.

There are a lot fewer libs in LA now than there were--they've got a Republican (conservative) govenor don't forget. Ohio is still a little close...don't forget how close they are to such Obama-hating states as Kentucky.

I'm probably the only person in America who believes this, but I think Sam Nunn and/or Biden cost Obama more than they help him. Webb is a wild card. I hate him passionately, and know he's a self serving coward--but no one believes me.

Really though--as a less than single term Senator, Obama needs to choose an executive type to run with. A govenor, or even a big city mayor...or heaven forbid, reach outside of the political structure into the business world--talk about adding substance to his "change" mantra.

The same thing is true for McCain, btw. He desperately needs a young, conservative executive type. Young is of course relative when you're McCain and are 117.
If McCain could find even the Republican John Edwards (Bobby Jindal, anyone? He'd do well. I'm thinking the chick from Alaska--she's got a good record, and it would give good balance to the first black man running...plus she's a MILF--and that's always a bonus.). And Lindsay Graham need not apply. I don't think it's been talked about, but that %*#& would cost more votes than if McCain put Hillary on the ticket.
