Now seriously--I have no problem with same sex marriage. I'd prefer the term be reserved for one man and one woman, yada yada--but it's not worth getting hung up on. But in all seriousness, the state needs to pay to get a lesbian knocked up? WTF? Seriously now, do even the lefties on this board think the state needs to pay to shove sperm into lesbians?

It seems to me it should be an elective procedure. If they're going to pay for that, they should pay for Lasix and tattoo removal as well.

And--since no one brought it up (LOL)...does the state pay for infertile hetero couples to get knocked up, or is this a special treat reserved for those among us who are "different" yet want to be treated the same.

It's just ridiculous.

Yeah...and what's that got to do with anything? I didn't say it hadn't, or that you said it hadn't. I took issue with them giving free sperm to lesbians. Try to keep up...it's not that hard. I use mostly simple words just for your benefit.

No-one here wants gays to not be free - has anyone talked about banning homosexual acts ? Whether the privilege of marriage should be bestowed on them is a totally different question and has nothing to do with freedom.

I know a woman who used her brother in laws semen. He did his thing in a cup, she mixed it with some warm water and inserted with a turkey baster. True story, the woman was a friend of one of my college professors who told the story.

No muss, no fuss, and no freakin distribution of the taxpayer's money.
