They're all the same. Maybe someday more people will realize that fact.

So when we see something like this happening, I think it's pretty easy for us to assume that this country is being run by corporate America.

It's not necessarily being run by corporate america. It's being run by a bunch of crooked, silver spoon, millionaire politicians. The people vote in their representatives to both speak for, and protect them. The pols look to get elected for pub, power, and personal gain. A corp can only be as evil as the pols permit them to be. A lobbyist can only scheme as effectively as a politician allows them to. Ultimately it comes down to the people in charge. If the pols simply followed the Constitution, and ran government as was originally intended, we'd be fine right now. They don't, and unfortunately, the tax payer bears the burden.

I was watching a news report on this today. The press initially contacted Dodd's office for comment and were told that they didn't know where he was. So then they send a helicopter over to his house and sure as *****, there he is in his backyard, looking up at the copter hovering over his house. LMAO
The old time Mafia should be running this country, they would take our Taxes then they would keep us safe from attack, execute pedophiles, treat our women with respect, they would destroy the California Gang Bangers in one day, they would relocate the illegal aliens back across the border, they wouldn't waterboard muslim terrorists in Gitmo they would shoot them, you would be able to go window shopping at 2AM again, you would be able to sleep in Central Park with your whole family on a hot summer night again, you could remove the bars from your downstairs windows, you could leave your keys in your car all night, mothers could leave their baby strollers on the sidewalk while they shopped, AGAIN, Cops could go through a twenty five year career without taking their gun out of it's holster, AGAIN, if a scumsucker raped your wife or daughter
