The Obama campaign now has a website to fight the smears. It's really pretty amazing how even in this forum, the right-wing Republican orchestrated lies about Obama attending a Madrassa, being Muslim, about his wife using "whitey" in a speech, etc. have been spread. Let's just remember that prominent right-wingers are often liars and many of their followers are suckers.

New one: Obama was not born in Hawaii!!! May not even be eligible to run for President, may not even be a citizen!!!

Obama has refused to issue his "birth certificate" and now people are questioning if he was actually bonr in Hawaii. Under the INA at the time of his birth since his father was a Kenyan MUslim terrorist, and his mother was only 18, he could not derive US citizenship at birth. This would be hilarious if it is true!!!!

Yeah the whitey thing I don't buy. I believe she was likely a radical in college, I mean just considering her context its likely. But seriously, if there was a tape of her saying "whitey" it would have surfaced by now. The most plausible explanation is her excitedly saying "why'd he," and it ran together.

They wouldn't release it until after the Convention, if it exists. He's not the nomimee yet, and any surprises now, could mean a Hitlery ambush, and the GOP would prefer to face Obama. Especially if they do indeed have a tape. I have my doubts.

Both campaigns are engaged in inuendo. McCain's people float this crap about Obama's nationality. Obama's campaign is suggesting that McCain is becoming senile. So what?...Get used to it. That's because the real issues will not be discussed during this election. Soc Security, healthcare, energy policy,...even Iraq will all be avoided in lieu of party politics, identity politics, and inuendo politics.

And people wonder why we can't get decent people to enter politics. Who in their right mind would?
