Default Some righties on McCain

A video by a Ron Paul supporter, featuring mostly right wingers accusing McCain of various things.

http://www.jedreport.com/2008/06/brutal.html

Also, John McCain's first wife speaks out:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/ar...ft-behind.html

‘My marriage ended because John McCain didn’t want to be 40, he wanted to be 25. You know that happens...it just does.’

Some of McCain’s acquaintances are less forgiving, however. They portray the politician as a self-centred womaniser who effectively abandoned his crippled wife to ‘play the field’. They accuse him of finally settling on Cindy, a former rodeo beauty queen, for financial reasons.

McCain was then earning little more than £25,000 a year as a naval officer, while his new father-in-law, Jim Hensley, was a multi-millionaire who had impeccable political connections.

Interesting, but an ex-wife and a die-hard Ron Paul supporter? Not the most credible of sources I'm afraid. But there will be a lot of righties unhappy with McCain.

Those are all the things that make a successful American Politician.

If you watched the video by the Ron Paul supporter, you would have seen that it presented a very much right wing perspective, using McCain's own words, as well as comments from various prominent right-wingers, soldiers, libertarians, etc.

Yep. McCain's not a sweet guy. Then again, I haven't liked him since...forever. Literally, as long as I can remember.

BTW--how did a Paul supporter get to be considered a "rightie"?

I don't like McCain, either. But, I like Obama even less.

Well, Paul is only liberal on the Iraq War, but even there it's not because the war is wrong or because war is wrong, it's because he doesn't believe the US should spend money in that way. My guess is he would have even opposed our entering WWI, and probably have been among those Repubicans who were very unenthusiastic about WWII because of their isolationist principles. Also, Paul through is libertarian philosophy opposes government aid to the needy, government programs that support the arts and culture, and so on. And, also he did put out a racist newsletter. He is also anti-abortion, though he does seem to favor gay marriage.

Anyone who has paid any attention knows that most Republicans don't like McCain that much but he's a far better choice than The Prince and he was probably the most electable Republican in a tough year for Republicans. There's little point in threads saying how McCain isn't the perfect candidate for Republicans when it's well known.

I did. A Ron Paul guy DOES come from a right wing perspective; a pretty far out one considering what the political middle today. And John McCain really isn't right-wing about much. I don't really need other people to tell me what I think of each of these candidates anyway, I do my own research. If your point was to show that many in the right wing are dissatisfied with McCain though, you're right.
