You 'speak' as though all lobbying is a bad thing simply on the basis of...what?

The NRA has worked (lobbied) very hard to protect the Second Amendment. AARP has worked (lobbied) very hard to expand programs for the elderly (and near elderly).

Sierra Club lobbies, I know a Sierra Club lobbiest personally in fact.

They're just angry white men who cling to their guns and religion.

Why? A Lobbyist is a real estate broker. A promoter. An agent. A lobbyist isn't what's evil, it's a crooked politician that is.

Haven't you read the bible? Clearly, it's the fault of the tempted. If you weigh 400 pounds, and go on a diet, is it McDonald's fault for advertising on your TV screen? Or is it your own, for jumping off the sofa, and ordering a couple of king sized #9's? mmmmmmmmmmmm.....I just made myself hungry.

It's McDonald's fault if they come knocking on my door day after day with a Whopper & large fries

You make a good point. Some types of lobbying are good and necessary. I don't think huge for profit corporations need lobbyists though.

I'm sure we disagree on that, but that's ok.

REALLY....a LOT of people on this board would disagree with your opinion.
