Default McCain's pick for Vice President ?

I am not a McCain fan, but imagine if he could convince Condolezza Rice or Colin Powell to be
his VP.

He would get my vote if he got either of them on the ticket.

Did you hear that Patters?

Then again, does my vote really matter?
I live in Massachusetts.

At least a swing state like Ohio, your vote counts.

I'm a big Condi fan, and was one of those who originally jumped on the idea of her for prez...but what does she bring to the McC ticket except being a younger person, and a black woman?

Bobby Jindall looks better all the time though.

Condi is brilliant !
Total respect for the lady !
She also appears to be tough as nails !

I would pay to see her debate Obama.
With out a teleprompter, she would eat him for lunch.

( I know presidential candidates do not debate the VP's )

I don't know if it's because of the GWB influence or what, but I'm not as impressed with her as I was.

Certainly, she could make Obama look silly w/o a teleprompter. So could you, so could I. He's not good w/o being told what to say.

It will be very interesting if he chooses a woman or Black person.

Sarah Palin would be a good choice.

Yeah...okay.

McCain doesn't have enough problems with the actual rank and file Republicans, so he'd go out and get an old liberal who's hawkish on the war.

Do not care for Condi.. like Colin Powell, as he knows the realities of modern warfare, but the latter is not exactly endeared to the republican inner circle.

If McCain and Powell were the ticket, would have to think long and hard about it.. otoh do not think either one has a snowballls chance in hell to be the nominee..
