I agree on most of what you say, but as far as Ayers goes that seems to be kind of a stretch.. it seems that they were acquaintances and had some common interests more than anything else.

he was found guilty of obstructing justice in the investigation. Plame was covert, that came out in Fitzgerad's case. you honesly STILL think she was a 'glorified secretary'....one that was working on nuclear proliferation in Iran...? Yeah, they give those tasks to non-covert agents...

Well, you can't really accuse him of dodging the question since, in fairness you only asked me. And I wasn't dodging, I thought it was rhetorical.

He won't do it. So it's a non-issue.

And if he did do it, I wouldn't like it, but it's not something worth getting riled about either. All presidents pardon and commute questionable people. It's part of the power of the office, and I'm not about to start cutting yet more executive power, the office has been gutted enough as it is, so you just grit your teeth and take the good with the bad.
