Because Obama would be better for Cuba. He'd actually talk to Castro and possibly end the embargo. You know, as in make the world a better place instead of invading other countries for oil.

Never understood this embargo stuff, does anyone think that Saddam, Castro or Quadaffi ever went without??, the only people that go without are the women amd children.. the only reason the embargo exists is to pander to the spanish vote in Florida.. this is a freaking joke.. remember don't talk to anyone send warships off the coast.. scare the crap out of them.

In a way the embargo is a good thing...Cuba is still relatively unspoiled. Can you imagine if there was no embargo? The country would be one giant Sandals/Trump resort.

And why do you say "Oh...the suffering of the women and children...oh the pain..."? Because every other country trades with Cuba. The condition of the country can be traced directly to the Castro family.

That said, I've never supported the embargo either. We trade with China, traded with the Soviet Union...it's a stupid embargo.

Castro tortures, Castro kills, Castro Confines AIDS carriers to sanatoriums and Cuba is a f-cking Dump.

American Liberals who go ballistic and start throwing blood all over city hall when an American Cop slaps a Murderers face or when America wiretaps a Muslim why do these American Liberals ADORE and Worship this creepy stinking savage DICTATOR-----

I always thought American Liberals were against Cruelty and Loss Of Freedom.

Can you just picture GW Bush trying to put all of America's AIDS Carriers in a Sanatorium-

Because Castro does not suffer or want from anything, the women and chidren are effected... if our embargo is usurped by other nations, why continue the embargo.. to pander to the spanish vote in Fla..

Okay, so work with me a minute: if Castro doesn't suffer or want for anything, but the people are suffering/struggling, and every other country trades with Cuba, wouldn't that indicate that the problem is related to Castro and his government, and not the US embargo?

And didn't I say I thought the embargo was stupid (except for having the by-product of keeping Cuba from becoming one big Trump hotel, casino and parking lot?

And yes, it's partly (maybe mostly, I don't know) to pander to the Cubans in FL.
And because it's some kind of habit, I guess. I don't know anyone personally who thinks it's a good idea. Do you?

Maybe you should talk to the oil execs raking in record profits. Or perhaps the nice folks at PNAC who designed the Iraq invasion for critical leverage. Or you could just keep dumbing it down to the "price at the pump" argument like the Bush administration wants you to.
