i'm glad i refuse to pay for porn.

pretty soon there will be a tax every time you take a *****.

Every time you rub 1 out, there will be a carbon tax.

Every time you breathe in and out, another fcukin tax.

Big brother is simply just a parasite on the middle class, and if/when the middle class is no more... they will then just eliminate us with their diseases.

This thread should be merged with the 5-year old wanking thread.

It's a conspiracy - my favorite - a conspiracy to get more people wanking so they can tax wanking.

Heather Brooke is human wonder of the world. However, hotter than hot, is the Melanie chick that does the video's with her. I'm going back a few years, and am not sure she's even online anymore, but some of you will probably know who I'm talking about. The Melanie chick was a POA of high end quality.

Tax porn? How stupid are people? Like FTW said, they will pick up, and move on. Recruit in LA, shoot in Arizona, or outside Vegas. If CA does pass such a talk, one of the bordering states would be wise to recruit the industry. It's not a popular industry publically, but it is so financially. This is another example of politicians totally missing the point.

Let me tell you how it will be;
There's one for you, nineteen for me.
'Cause Im the taxman,
Yeah, Im the taxman.

Should five per cent appear too small,
Be thankful I don't take it all.
'Cause Im the taxman,
Yeah, Im the taxman.

(if you drive a car, car - Ill tax the street;
(if you try to sit, sit - Ill tax your seat;
(if you get too cold, cold - Ill tax the heat;
(if you take a walk, walk - I'll tax your feet.

Taxman!

'Cause Im the taxman,
Yeah, Im the taxman.

Don't ask me what I want it for, (ah-ah, mister Wilson)
If you don't want to pay some more. (ah-ah, mister heath)
'Cause Im the taxman,
Yeah, Im the taxman.

Now my advice for those who die, (taxman)
Declare the pennies on your eyes. (taxman)
'Cause Im the taxman,
Yeah, Im the taxman.

And you're working for no one but me.

Taxman!

I'm thinking Utah...Wouldn't that be something when the filmmakers try to join the local Chamber of Commerce? That's a sitcom in the making........

I don't think you're going to find a lot of recruits in Utah though. The porn industry has a footing in CA, and places like Vegas or Miami, cuz there are a large number of young women who move there. Those aspiring actresses, strippers, or nightlifers are the low hanging fruit for porn producers. If CA imposed massive axes on the industry, I don't see how Utah would work. Of course, you're probably mentioning Utah cuz they are mormon/religious, but how different would MA react to a porn industry invasion? This state won't even allow a casino, or bottle service in a club. Imagine how they'd react to Vivid, or Zero Tolerance opening up shop on Boyleston Street.

What do you honestly think the porn ndustry would do if they passed a 25% tax on porn production in California? Would they pay the tax, or move to another state? They would move "en-mass" to another state.

It just goes to show you, how stupid and out of touch these politiicans really are.
Actually, years ago, I knew a guy who assistant directed a fairly well known porn video (about a woman who smuggles a bomb into the US Congress in her dildo -- rather an apropos plot for this forum). He said that a lot states either don't allow porn production or put up a lot of obstacles. Also, since so much porn apparently comes from CA, one would think that issues involving porn production have already been legally vetted in their courts.

I was being sarcastic for the state's reputation for morality but business are leaving California in droves for Nevada for tax reasons and there's no reason they couldn't do the same for the 'adult film industry"

I lived downtown near the Combat Zone in the early '80s and that place was a cesspool
