That really is laughable. Sasha Baron Cohen, the guy who play Ali G, Borat, and Bruno, is from Britain and said that he uses the Borat character partially to explore anti-semitism in America. I was openly laughing at this statement. Of course it exists here, but it exists everywhere. And especially in Europe. It's a sad fact.

I don't really know what the UN expects to find, except for an excuse to try to foist more of their ridiculous policies onto us and erode our sovereignty.

I've said here many times before I have friends and aquantices from many, many places in North & south America. The racism from other countries makes our country look saintly. Much of it based around the color of ones skin just like here but way worse. I could get into specifics here but that could create problems. Granted, we may not be as socially progressed as other countries but we don't have a huge problem either.

After we have a few minority Presidents we'll be fine .. perhaps in another 20-25 years IMO.

Ummmmmmm, seeing that in the last 60 years, there have been two separate, documentable, instances of genocide in European countries, it becomes pretty tough for that statement to hold water there Wes, doncha think?.

I know it's a big word and all, but you do know what genocide is, right Wes? That is the systematic EXTERMINATION of members of one ethnic (or racial) community by another. There was Bosnian Genocide and Srebrenica massacre within the last 15 years which claimed upwards of 10'000 or more during the Bosnian Conflict. Then there is that little thing called the Holocaust.

A deeper look back at Europe’s history would show a rich history of religious and other racial/ethnic pogroms on a grand scale. Hardly a Continent to be help up as a model of long-term multi-cultural tolerance.

hate having to admit such, ... but i can't disagree with this post...

though i will say that certain countries within europe are further ahead in their racial harmony and acceptance of foreign cultures than we are...

France and England among them...

Put on the rose colored glasses, a couple of anecdotal comments from friends make this ok.. how many places are there in North America that you cannot mention?? America has a huge racism problem, and it is covered up well in some areas and others not hidden at all.

Maybe you need to mention your specifics...

How do you figure? The article made my point, AND it's a socialist rag.

You need to take the stick out and go lay down my friend.
