Seriously...has anyone done a study to find the commonality in this? My guess is that these fu(ks think they are actually closer to "God" and have certain rights and priviledges. But even if that were true, wouldn't you try for a hot adult woman (or man if you're gay) who is religious and believes all your bullshyte?
You mean why do they do it at all or why does it seem to happen so often?

Don't know why they do it, but it appears to happen more often because it's actually reported every single time it happens. Just like there are x number of highway deaths every day that almost never get reported, but they breathlessly report deaths in Iraq.

AHH because the highway deaths were accidents, where as the deaths in Iraq aren't. GET it. Or do look at both in the same manner?

Not all highway deaths are accidents, and I wasn't suggesting they're the same, merely using it as an example of how some things are over-reported (like a minister who rapes a kid) v. underreported (like every other pervert).

Besides, if your wife dies in a car wreck on her way home, is that any less tragic because it was an "accident" as you say?

To say "every" anything is of course no true, but in most cases they are accidents. It would be tragic to me,(if my wife was killed in an accident) but to others mearly a another...... accident. On the other hand kids getting killed in Iraq for our sake isn't just another death,or accident. But the way you phrased it in that post sounded very much what you really believe.. ...(but they breathlessly report deaths in Iraq.A.Paul) I note the word "breathlessly" like they shouldn't,like their over zealous, like you don't want to hear it. Because deep down you KNOW they shouldn't be there in Iraq.

Breathlessly because I hate the media, and I hate how charged up they get about reporting tragedies.

Nothing............I have nothing else to say except that the way you phrased it (Breathlessly) came across to me like traffic accidents and soldiers deaths were equal in weight. I just wanted you to know that. I wouldn't put it past others on this forum to do just that. I.E (SO what about the deaths in Iraq more people die in traffic accidents each year) and so on and so forth.
