What does "hating" Hitler have to do with meeting with him? The right wing neo-cons are conflating Obama's willingness to meet with Ahmadenijad and "appeasement." Churchill met with Hitler and never appeased him. The idea that you can't meet with your possible enemies is dangerous and stupid. If these morons were n charge during the Cuban missile crisis and had this asinine policy of not talking with the enemy we'd have had a nuclear war.

What part of "Hitler and Churchill never met" are you having trouble with? Wildo...from my knowledge of history I don't think it happened. From what I've found doing research it didn't happen.

And now you're trying to say Kennedy was chatting with Krushev and that's what kept nuclear war from breaking out?

well either way, he was willing to meet with him. Again it's totally different since they Hitler was already invading other countries when Churchill came to power.

Do you think the Yalta conference would have taken place under Bush? Bottom line: the idea that by just talking to the "enemy" you are appeasing them is really stupid.
