"Going after?" LOL.... Oh the drama...
Nice to see a fellow con man ignore who initiated the exchange, once again... I kinda love it...

Yeah, we know, you take on all "con men" with one hand tied behind your back
.......... and the funniest thing (in a tragic sorta way), is you take yourself serious when you spew this crap. Everyone else just laughs at you.

Sitting back and "enjoying the game," in this instance, would mean that you'd actually acknowledge the Rumsfeld statement.
"I did not have sexual relations with that woman", Yeah, okay Willie

Yeah. This post is dishonest to the core. Rumsfeld (who I think is a total incompetent dolt) CLEARLY wasn't saying "We need another attack". Here's the direct quote (try to follow along here);
"The perception of the threat is so low in this society that it's not surprising that the behavior pattern reflects a low threat assessment. The same thing's in Europe, there's a low threat perception. The correction for that, I suppose, is an attack. And when that happens, then everyone gets energized for another [inaudible] and it's a shame we don't have the maturity to recognize the seriousness of the threats...the lethality, the carnage, that can be imposed on our society is so real and so present and so serious that you'd think we'd be able to understand it, but as a society, the longer you get away from 9/11, the less...the less..."
He was clearly saying that people were no longer taking security as serious as they should be, and without another attack, they probably wouldn't. A far fukcing cry from "we need another attack". It's dishonest as hell to spin it that way as the article does, but it's another thing to CHANGE THE WORDS AROUND to get a false meaning. Even the narrow-minded haters at the Stuffington Post wouldn't do that. The title of their article was (which reflects the actual quote);
Not only is it dishonest, it's a fukcing LIE. Nice try though.
I don't dislike you for you're anti-war stance, I dislike you for your generalized douche-baggary and dishonest representation in just about all of your posts, including this one. Stick to REAL NEWS.
Go ahead and respond, but to be truthful, you basically have ZERO credibility at this point.

Rumsfeld's legacy will be that he was a inneffective tool of the neo-cons. What did Rumsfeld acomplish ... nothing ... nothing.
Old member's here ... I wish I could find my infamous:
"Rumsfeld Must Go" post I made about 4-5 years ago. One of the absolute worst ... and I mean the worst government employee ever. I remember people thinking he should run for President .. please ... he deserves the room in hell where he must fight off flesh eating insects for eternity.

Oh the drama my ass. And what, pray does it matter who initiated the exchange? What possible bearing could it have on the situation, except to give yourself the opportunity to puff yourself up a little more, to pat yourself on the back a little harder...'yeah I really showed them' and so forth.
Come on...it's not passing the smell test. If you've got something to say, say it. This Gene Kelly routine is tiring.

I still like Rumsfeld. He miscalculated. A lot of people did. A lot of people will.

Miscalculated ... no way.
apaul me and you are usually on the same page but not on Rumsfeld.
Disbanding the police & military was an intentional act designed to keep us in Iraq for at least 5 - 10 years. There had to be someone ... especially a Sunni who actually hated Saddam who could have taken over while elctions were served up.
When he disbanded the police and military he put people out of work who were then hired by al qeada and the miltias at the very least ... it was dumb.

I'm pretty sure they didn't anticipate how long it would take the Iraqi people to get their government and infrastructure up and running. If you leave the military and the police, you're very well sowing the seeds of Baathist revival. I understand why it was done, in some ways.
I don't disagree with you, FBN, I just don't judge him as harshly.

I believe I did say it. Did you miss that somehow? What do you believe I was dancing around? LOL... .
Do yourself a favor and mind your obnoxious business, and let two people have it out without playing cowardly third-man in. It's simple forum ettiquette. No one cares about your victim complex.
Next time you say something stupid, or hypocritically pissy, I'll be "going after" you as well. You'll have your chance to run your mouth, worry not.
