Re: Who will Obama pick as a running mate?
For some reason I always think he'll pick Edwards. If he does, I might have to vote against Obama. I stress might. Edwards is the biggest fony, ok, maybe second to Hillary (Romney ain't to far behind!) in the land. He's a total fraud. The problem is that his picking Edwards will mean a loss. Edwards is so out in left field that the GOP base will vote against that ticket, helping McAmnesty. The sensible choice is Bill Richardson. Former governor, hispanic, very experienced, etc. I think he's on the short list, as he should be. I like Richardson, although he made me shake my head a couple of times during his campaign. He sounded like a drunk boob too often. Strickland is an option as Patters suggested. Ohio is critical, and Obama lags in the polls there. The GOP can't win without Ohio. So he could be the choice for that reason alone. Jim Webb is another option, but an all legislative ticket with little national name recognition isn't ideal.
