One problem for Strickland is that he's a first term governor. Sometimes when a guy ditches his job so quickly, there's a backlash inside his own state. I don't think that would be a determining factor though.
He will need a (white) moderate though. Farmy is on the money there. Someone a little longer in the experience tooth than he is.
